We are called 'Food for All' because we aim to provide Food for the mind by the sale of both
Christian and general books, Food for the Developing World by the sale of Traidcraft goods,
and Food for the body in our Drop in Centre.
We opened in June 1990, and are run entirely by volunteers from churches of different denominations
in the area, with trustees and an interdenominational consultative and advisory committee.
We aim to stock, or obtain quickly, Christian Books from any mainstream Christian tradition and a
selection of general books to meet most needs. We stock a small range of candles and other church requisites.
We obtain most of our Christian books from Send-the-Light Wholesaler Send the Light (STL)
which enables us to run a speedy ordering service for books not on our shelves. A corner of the shop is dedicated to the sale of Traidcraft goods;
mainly food and drink.
